Foo Fighters Releases 5-Track 'Saint Cecilia EP' Free Download

A countdown clock on rock band Foo Fighters official website has revealed a surprise free new EP album titled 'Saint Cecilia' for fans to download.

'Saint Cecilia' is a five-track album that was recorded this October at the Hotel Saint Cecilia in Austin, Texas as "...a celebration of life and music", and is offered as a free download. This EP is a end-of-tour gift for the fans - but as their tour was cut short by the recent tragic events in Paris, Foo Fighters have paid tribute and offered a link for fans to donate to the victims of the attack.

"Now there is a new, hopeful intention that, even in the smallest way, perhaps these songs can bring a little light into this sometimes dark world. To remind us that music is life, and that hope and healing go hand in hand with song. That much can never be taken away." - Dave Grohl

The 'Saint Cecilia EP' can be download for free from the Foo Fighters website, or on iTunes, or streamed on Apple Music, and Spotify. Fans can also buy a Vinyl edition (shipping in Feb 2016) which also comes with a downloadable version.

-> Go to Foo Fighters Official Website for more details.

iTunes 12.2 How To Fix iCloud Purchases Not Showing

A recent bug with iTunes 12.2 is iCloud purchases like Music, TV shows, Movies, etc, are not showing for some people. Even logging out and back into your iTunes account doesn't seem to fix the issue.

In older versions of iTunes there used to be a setting that said, 'Show iTunes In The Cloud Purchases', and checking this on used to fix the problem when purchases didn't show. This option however, is now removed from iTunes in version 12.2.

Even with the latest version of iTunes, Apple haven't yet seemed to fix this bug, but there is a work around!

Go to the TV Shows tab (or the Movies tab), then click "View" on the Menu Bar. Look for the two options, "All TV Shows" and "Only TV Shows Available Offline". Check "Only TV Shows Available Offline", wait a few seconds, then check the option back to "All TV Shows". Your iCloud purchases should then appear.

I must give all credit for this tip to the users on the Apple Support Communities. This tip worked for me and was too important not to share for everyone who may have experienced this bug.

How To Download Free TV Show Episodes from iTunes [U.S. Edition]

Want some free TV show episodes to add to your Apple iTunes collection? As you may or may not know, iTunes regularly features free full-length episodes of TV shows for you to download, in their 'Free on iTunes' section, of the iTunes store.

If you have a U.S. iTunes account, there is a bunch of episodes from a variety of shows that you can download, all for free! Other counties usually also have free content, but from my experience, the U.S. always has the most on offer.

Currently iTunes (U.S. Store) is offering for free, full-length episodes from TV shows that include; episode 1 of 'Humans', 'Quantum Jump', pilot of 'Proof', an episode of 'Impractical Jokers', episode 1 of Disney show 'Best Friends Whenever', Robert Zemeckis in 'The Director's Chair', episode 'Ninja Sharks' from 'Shark Week 2015', the pilot of MTV's 'The Scream' TV Series, and many more...

To download and start watching these episodes, open up your iTunes app, head to TV Shows on the Store, and look for the 'Free on iTunes' text apart of Quick Links section.
